Fancy non-alcoholic drinks from trader joes to serve at your next party

trader joes non-alcoholic beverages to try

I went out on a double date recently and we were all observing lent – and not drinking alcohol. We caught a comedy show at Second City and then went to a nearby bar. We saw mocktails on the menu and ordered a round. A few minutes later, our waitress came back and said you do realize there’s no alcohol in these, right? We looked at each other and said “yes.” It was the moment that felt like I couldn’t hang on a Friday night – granted a rainy Friday night.

I’ve recently started hosting more get togethers, book clubs and game nights at my house. And one of the things I think about is what to serve to drink. Usually I have some wine, Truly, and beer and water, but I decided to look into what fancy non-alcoholic drinks I could serve. Because let’s face it, we might be on meds, or focusing on our health, or preparing for a project, or just don’t feel like drinking. But that doesn’t mean we have to be limited to water and wine.

On my last Trader Joes haul I discovered these refreshing organic sparkling beverages and I am obsessed. They taste better than Truly’s and they are healthy and refreshing. The Sparkling Lemon + Strawberry Apple Cider Vinegar Beverage is my favorite, but the Organic Ginger + Lemon Apple Cider Vinegar Beverage, is also great. One note is that I wish they had these in the pack. I had to buy them individually for a dollar.

Cheers to upgrading your non-alcoholic beverages.
